I finally got around to recording a setting of Melita followed by a short ricecar-like mediation on the hymn tune I wrote late last year when I first discovered virtual organs.
It is played on the extended Stiehr-Mocker, fairly light registration, with a slight bit of reverb through the stock special effects on my RealTek sound card (I used "bathroom".... ).
I'm very pleased with the sound when I play. I used Audacity, and my little Acer Aspire One with 1 GB memory gets close to maxed-out with the organ and recorder going at once, so there are some pops and scratches. No worse than what we used to hear on records.
I hope it loads alright. My hosted server sometimes is slow: http://bottomlylaw.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/melita_fantasy_slight_reverb.mp3
