Re: Opus #1 and Virtual organ in a browser !

1) Bluestacks is an Android layer for Windows and OS-X (http://bluestacks.com/) - might be worth trying :)

Have fun,

Re: Good MIDI files

The online IMSLP Petrucci Music Library has some original MIDI files available, but some of them are scans, some of them are played (you have to download and listen to know as they don't have a category difference for 'scanned performance' vs 'live performance'). Here a few I found during a quick se...

Re: Kurzweil

Hi,

As Kurzweil's pipe organ sounds are either created via additive synthesis or based on samples I doubt that there are sample sets available. If you have a Kurzweil keyboard it would be possible for you to create one for yourself...

Kind regards,

Re: Virtual Keyboard for GrandOrgue

You will need to install virtual MIDI cable software to connect VMPK to GO. Go to http://www.tobias-erichsen.de/loopMIDI.html and download loopMidi, install it, setup at least one virtual MIDI cable. Then it does not matter which application you run first (VMPK or GO) so long as they are both connec...

Re: GrandOrgue on Tablet-PC

Hi,

The Tenq P07 runs Ubuntu, so it should work, and the WePad might as it is said to be Linux based. Hope that helps.

Re: GrandOrgue on Tablet-PC

Hi, GrandOrgue uses the wxWidgets GUI library and can be compiled in Linux to use the ALSA and JACK drivers. While Android is 'linux' based, it is also a modified 'java' platform and does not have support for wxWidgets (yet), so the quick answer is 'No'. There have been some discussions of a wxWidge...

Re: OT: Scripting in *.organ file

Hi Francois, Use the REF feature to re-use ranks from the other manuals. For example, on the Burea Church organ we do this for the Pedal when borrowing a Krumhorn 8 from Manual 002 where it is configured as the 16th rank of that manual... [Stop016] Name= Krumhorn 8' NumberOfLogicalPipes=30 NumberOfA...

Re: OT: Scripting in *.organ file

Hi Francois, GrandOrgue stop images are not re-sizable, so the only way to configure usage for a smaller screen is re-arrange the stops to use the space above the manuals. What screen size are you using and which of the Stiehr Mockers organ dispositions do you want to have customized for your situat...
