Thanks go to Panos Ghekas and Dick Sanderman for their interpretations.

  1. Joseph, I have admired your work on these organs for a few years now, and marvelled at the Silbermann samples above – particulary as used so proficiently by JS Bach.
For anyone interested, I have made a basic guide to creating a simple pipe organ (from samples) in a blog entry at:
    http://jusblad.blogspot.com.au/2014/06/creating-pipe-organ-in-logic-pro-9.html
I’m sure it’s not the technically proficient way to create an instrument, but after searching high and low for a similar article, I decided to sit down one afternoon and have a go myself.

  2. Bonjour,
I am a conductor of a choir and I use Sonar (with the Creative ASIO driver) to make arrangements/compositions.
I have tried to incorporate Hauptwerk and GrandOrgue (and JOrgue) into Sonar but these programs do not run because they donot accept the Creative ASIO driver. I can use these programs only stand alone with a midi keyboard and a standard audio driver, but the latency is too large allowing to play slow pieces only. The only program that runs well in Sonar is your VST (!!), which I use with the Stiehr-Mockers samples.
Question: Your Silberman samples sound very well. I would like to incorporate them in my set of VSTs in Sonar. But before buying them I want to be sure that they will run (after the Hauptwerk and GrandOrgues deceptions). Is there any way I could try your Silberman collection with a VST before buying?
Yours sincerely, Guido Smoorenburg (Besse sur Issole, France)

    • Thank you for your comments, happy to know that the Stiehr-Mockers VST worked for you 🙂
Yes, you can also use the Silbermann in Sonar, using the Hauptwerk VST, it will work well (feel free to send me an email if you have questions about how to do it).
